Looking for a dynamic, energetic, and professional Tax Senior to join our client's team at Wheelwright Manahan Family Office!
Their tax work is more complex than most firms, so excellent technical skills with experience preparing tax returns and performing complex tax research are essential. They would like a professional with the ability to reach beyond current tax knowledge and identify areas to grow and develop as a professional. There will be opportunities to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships as well as mentor and teach other tax professionals in the office.

Essential Functions:
- Ensure the timely, accurate, & creative delivery of tax preparation and strategy services
- Responsible for preparing federal, state, and local income tax returns and other business-related filings: Form 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120 with occasional 1041, 990, 709
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients
- Demonstrate ability to track and monitor projects and communicate status
- Follow all process playbooks
- Research and co-lead meetings on efficiency and technical trainings
- Develop an understanding of our client’s businesses
- Ability to review Staff/Associate work and reduce review notes
- Comply with laws and regulations
- Support company vision, mission, and values
Requirements
- 3 plus years of experience in tax compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and desire to work independently
- Strong sense of respect, teamwork, dignity, and integrity
- Highly professional, have good judgment; an eye for detail and be willing to take initiative
- Required to pass a background investigation check

Paid Time Off
