Job Description

This remote position is a member of the Blumark Accounting Team and is responsible for assisting with internal bookkeeping, data preparation and other various projects as required. This position will be a full-cycle, general staff accounting role and will work exclusively with Blumark employees and partners in maintaining the operations of the internal accounting staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.
• Data entry and maintenance in QuickBooks Online.
• Audit data as required.
• Create and maintain financial reporting.
• Demonstrate new processes to outside contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in accounting or related field required (or equivalent in experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of previous full-cycle bookkeeping would be an advantage.
• Ability to work against deadlines.
• The ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with MS Excel.
