Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an Automated Software Tester to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. 

This is a hybrid role located in Washington, DC, 3 days a week on site and 2 days remote. 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities: 

• Develop Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Analysis Reports.
• Architect, design, and develop automated test scripts.
• Test planning, test documentation development, test execution, defects tracking, and test results reporting.
• Conduct different kinds of testing (manual, automated, functional, regression, performance).
• Escalate risks and issues related to test.
• Provide guidance to accomplish the goals and objectives of the test strategy for the program.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience or a master’s degree and 6 years of experience or a High School diploma and 12 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active TS/SCI clearance .
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Must have application requirements, design, and testing experience.
• Experience with agile software delivery lifecycles, with particular emphasis on requirements analysis, design, and testing experience.
• Proficiency in testing across multiple operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation during testing processes.
• Hands-on experience with automated API testing tools.
• Experience in programming languages like Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript used for writing automated scripts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with UiPath Studio process or test automation development.
• Experience with Pega, PeopleSoft, or web application testing.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
