Job Description

Nittany MinitMart is seeking a Full-Time Petroleum Category Manager to drive growth and expand market share within a designated territory. Our company offers a variety of fuel options, including diesel, unleaded, and other fuels to business fleet customers. This role is focused on generating new business and increasing sales from existing accounts to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

 Conduct B2B calls and visits to prospective business customers.

 Close new leads through phone communication and in-person visits.

 Demonstrate and effectively communicate the value of our products to clients.

 Gather and document initial information from prospective customers.

 Proactively address and resolve any client concerns in a timely and fair manner.

 Manage sales of all Nittany MinitMart petroleum products, ensuring achievement of budgeted sales goals.

 Perform site inspections to ensure proper image, cleanliness, signage, and maintenance of sites, including islands, dispensers, canopies, and lots.

 Document and address pump issues and low fuel incidents.

 Analyze sales data for the petroleum category to identify opportunities for growth.

 Visit store sites to provide training on systems and ensure store presentation meets company standards.

 Assist in the setup of new stores, including liquid fuel training.

 Reports directly to the Nittany MinitMart Division Manager.

Qualifications:

 Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.

 Strong closing, prospecting, and negotiation skills, along with self-confidence and product knowledge.

 Excellent presentation skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships.

 Exceptional customer service skills and ability to promote Nittany MinitMart professionally.

 Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to process and convey information clearly.

 Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and sales management software.

 Knowledge of the transportation/fleet/trucking industries and experience with fleet payment card programs is preferred.

 Prior phone sales experience is a plus.
