Title: Mobility/Transportation Coordinator

Reports To: Executive Director

Status: Salaried/Exempt

Start Date: ASAP

General Purpose

The Airport Corridor Transportation Association (ACTA) is seeking a full-time Mobility Manager. Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the successful candidate will assist in managing ACTA’s RideACTA shuttle program.

Duties and Responsibilities

The management and operation of the RideACTA shuttle program is a critical component to ACTA’s overall success. Duties and responsibilities of the position include:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the RideACTA shuttle (including but not limited to):

• Communicating and working with the shuttle service provider on any operational issue or need.
• Communicating with shuttle drivers when necessary.
• Ride the vehicle on a regular basis to monitor service performance.
• Field customer phone calls and answer rider questions.
• Monitor the Via rider application and work with the software developer to maintain the app in good working order.

Assist in data collection and analysis to support service expansion

Assist in developing a service expansion plan

Track shuttle statistics and trends.

Complete weekly, monthly and yearly reports when necessary.

Participate in budget development as well as grant application preparation.

Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies.

Communicate with local businesses and organizations to bring more awareness to the service.

Work to increase shuttle ridership.

Represent ACTA at meetings, as necessary.

Any other duties necessary assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or associate degree in business, planning or another related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Public transit experience is a plus.
• Non-profit organization experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

The Airport Corridor Transportation Association (ACTA) is a non-profit Transportation

Management Association supporting and implementing programs that increase travel

options and foster responsible economic growth. ACTA serves businesses, workers, and travelers in the development corridor of the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport in Western Allegheny County. ACTA provides transportation users with information on major transportation issues and travel options to decrease traffic congestion, increase transportation access and mobility, and to promote the use of transportation alternatives to the automobile. ACTA operates the RideACTA shuttle service as a last-mile transit option. The shuttle serves locations within a 1.5-mile radius of the IKEA bus stop in the Robinson Township commercial area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
