Job Description

Haile Gold Mine has a new role for a highly self motivated Mine Performance Analyst to support MineStar, and PowerBI Data Integration within Surface Mine Operations with a continuous improvement mindset. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Utilize data to ensure Surface Mine Operations meet KPIs and root cause variances
• Support CI by providing rear looking analysis for opportunities of improvement
• Utilize historical data to support short and long term planning
• Integrate Surface Mine Operational data into PowerBI
• Identify gaps in data and assisting with closing of gaps to ensure high quality data
• Write and distribute reports for Surface Mine Operations including end of month reporting
• All other duties as reasonably required 

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in data report generation, integration, and management preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Mining experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
• Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.
• Occasionally may be required to work early morning or evening hours to meet global organizational needs.
• Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.
• Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
