POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Special Olympics Oregon is seeking a passionate and driven Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. As a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities through sports, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive community. The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in amplifying our mission, driving engagement, and increasing awareness of our programs and events across Oregon with visually impactful content.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Art Direction, or related field; or 4+ years in related work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the non-profit sector or with event-based organizations.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite & Canva) and digital platforms (WordPress, Classy, Constant Contact, and/or similar).
• Creative thinker with a passion for visual storytelling and a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Knowledge of disability rights and advocacy issues is a plus.
