*Job Posting: Logistic Customer Service Representative *
Please note: We are only considering applicants with active customer service or scheduling experience.
Schedule and Pay:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4 pm (with some flexibility on hours).
Pay Rate: $24.25 per hour.
Location: Omaha, NE, United States
Job Duration:
5-month assignment with potential for full-time conversion based on performance.
Assignment until about March of 2025 if performance is satisfactory.
Job Functions:
Heavy phone and email communication with both customers and transportation companies regarding order status.
Coordinate and schedule shipments.
Negotiate freight rates and process freight invoices.
Maintain close follow-up processes.
Handle tough conversations and provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Interact and establish relationships with suppliers, consumers, and freight vendors.
Serve as a liaison between traders, suppliers, and consumers.
Review and analyze various reports.
Identify best practices to streamline processes.
Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and flexibility to changing assignments.
Ability to work with deadlines and resolve customer complaints/issues.
Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications (But not required):
Knowledge of the transportation industry.
Bi-lingual speaking skills in Spanish.
Experience in transportation coordination or CSR in logistics.
