Job Description

Are you a dynamic and visionary marketing professional? We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our client. As a CMO, you will lead a talented marketing team and play a crucial role in developing and implementing creative marketing strategies to strengthen our brand presence.

Location: Austin, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Devise and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to elevate brand awareness and drive business growth
  • Set strategic goals and objectives for the marketing team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively
  • Build and nurture relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and stakeholders
  • Analyze and measure the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize results
  • Prioritize and manage multiple marketing projects with competing deadlines
  • Create impactful presentations and reports to present marketing metrics and recommendations to the executive team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
  • Proven experience as a CMO or in a similar executive role
  • Demonstrable success in developing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of SEO strategies, content management systems, and data analysis tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office and marketing software (e.g., CRM, marketing automation platforms)
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of managing diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and articulate marketing strategies effectively
